about 1hr 800 grit to 1000 , i couldnt do 1500 cause checkers didnt have any so i went to 2000. then just polish with mothers

you should take your valve cover to Electroplating on Hawkins and I-10, it's on the other side of Cielo Vista Mall. Talk to Rick. They do the best polishing and chrome plating. Just got about 2 g's of work done there for my side project and it came out real clean.
