hood looks like its curved on passenger side shot. Looks higher then body.

 

i like the new grill and the eyelid removal.. but i can't get over how ugly that hood is

 

and you would be right unfortunately.. i dont think theres anything i can do to fix it. i think i just got a bad hood but i also dont think that its bad enough where i should throw it out ya know? i just keep tellin myself that its aftermarket and its not gonna be perfect lol.

 

i would black it out, or even put an ss badge there instead.

Not only is it a bad style hood, but the hood itself is terribly made. The fitment just kills it. Really upset I didn't get to see it with the new lights and new grille at the same time with the stock hood. The new look is an improvement though.

 

I love the TC grille.

Have you messed around with the hood fit? Most hoods you can get to look almost perfect with some work, if you know what your doing.

I spent over 2 hours messing with my CF hood to see how it would look.

But I really like the headlights and grille, keep those.

i dont think theres anything i can do to make that side sit flush.. the only thing i can think of is to maybe drill 2 more holes on the underside to bring the passenger side down some but i dont know. when it comes to body work, i definately dont know what im doing lol. any tips?

 

Have you tried twisting that small coil spring that also has an affect on how the hood sits. Lower it a little and see how it fits then.

other than that i wouldnt know what to do....

 

The hood is bowed. It sits fairly flush at top and bottom, just not the middle.

 

yeah now that i look at it again, the second to last picture i see what your talkin about. It is bowed in the middle. it sits to low compared to the driver side in the front though. i guess that is just poor quality made stuff. That sucks bro! I like the new look though!
