I was ( headlight )

going to paint them black as some of you did but I went to do it and found that my D/F headlight is fogging up inside

so to use my warranty Im getting it repalced before I do the painting

but as long as I do them right I shoud not have that problem after I paint them right just re seal it corretly and apply heat to make sure it seals

Yep, just make sure that your little breather thingy isnt covered with silicone. Its a little blue round dot thingy on the top of the headlight......the grey part. Good luck with it, and if you have any questions feel free to ask. :

I didnt know about the breather thing. I wonder if that may be why mine is fogging up. I did mine about a month ago and the passanger side is fine but the driver side keeps fogging up whenever I wash my car. I was going to put more silicone on it soon so when I do that I'll have to look for the breather

Easiesst way to make sure no fogging happens is to run a bead of clear silicon all the way around the seal and bam, no chance of fogging.

well driver side is the one that is fooging up on mine as well I hope that it is solved with the new one and not a common thing
