i wana go wingless

so i want to go wingless but i thought im going to take my wing off my car and keep the same deck lid and just plug the holes. what i need to know obviously is where do i get the plugs from to use, so i can make sure i do it right...anyone thats done this already please help me out.

Your best bet to fill those holes cleanly would be a body shop. Unless you can find a trade.

Just drive around looking for someone with a wingless red trunk. Thats what I did in my case. Just found some random person, asked if they wanted to trade, met up with them a few days later and swapped the trunks out.

Have fun spending $300-$400 then. I took mine off just to see, and it was such a PITA that I left it. I will get some plugs eventually, but no one even notices the electrical tape. Its just temporary anyway.

I am experimenting with mine and took it off too, but I'm not going to pay 300 bones to fill a couple of holes. Thats gas for 4 months or a new CAI. Just plug em....It's a cobalt, not a caddy, who cares. Then you can put the hi rise back on later if you wanna mess around.

I would find some vinyl to match it and cover it with those until you find a swap or get it patched...

i know ive seen guys on here with those black rubber plugs to plug their holes for their wings...if i could find those (which is what im looking for) ill jus get those and paint them red and call it good, cus i can still go back to my old hood if i want.

anyone know where to get the plugs?
