I went black interior !!!!!

well i was tired of the ugly tan so i painted my stuff black let me know what you all think


THE PARTS PAINTED ARE DUSTY IS WHHY U MIGHT SEE STUFF ON THEM BUT THERE CLEAN LOOKING PROMISE LOL

looks good. i did the same thing with my old ls. I think im going to recover the pillars though instead of paint them so the paint doesnt scratch off when something scrathes them.

if you clear coat them they shouldnt scrath off so easy

looks good bro. did you install a dome light yourself. i dont have one with my sun roof. or is that not a dome light at all. and whats going on with your sunroof button. mine is falling apart but looks nothing like that. did you change it somehow?

no its not a dome light thats my onstar speaker and yea the sunroof switch has clips on the top side of the headliner and they bend you got to bend them back in place its fixed now

I want to do this to mine, but I think i'd rather reupholster it with a different fabric, not looking forward to doing it though


seems like a quick fix to the ugly. LOL

yes i goin to wrap the pillars in suede soon probly
i used dulpicolor vinyl and fabric spray

2.5 cans on headliner
1.5 on visors and sunroof

How does the headliner feel now? I heard that it feels "crunchy" under your finger tips and little flakes come off like the older model car headliners used to do...

see i was really worried i heard that to but i was like if it messes up ill suede it but it you fallow the directions it comes out good and not crunchy

when you spray it wait 2min no more and do a second coat same thing wait 2 min do it again it comes out soft do not wait longer becuz people wait 5-10 min between coats then it hardens and when you spray it on again it maks it hard and ruffs up... thats on anything fabric you spray!!!!

and i havent had any flakes or stuff fall yet sooo

hmmm that probly be hard to do in leather maybe i think leather might look good only if you have lather seats
...plus leather is kinda heavy u think your roof will stay up with heavy leather on it???

how well is the headliner holding up what did u use....i used actual headliner with adhesive glue and it gets 100 plus here and it keep getting so hot it sags

ooo i didn't even think about reattaching.. how well do these hold up when you put em back on? saggin roofs an **** look horrrrrrrrible imo..
an the headliner looks good op, but i think you could went with one color.. or it might jus be how the pics look, i dunno

i think he painted his roof also and if so its rough as **** i bet u money thats why i did mine with the real stuff. i did my visors with paint and its rough but this heat just makes it sag i dk what to do

Are those airbags on the side? I know I have those just don't know how it's mounted. How did you take apart the interior panels w/o airbags exploding at your face? I almost wanted to install rear speakers but the airbag thing made me rethink lol.

no none of my stuff sags its painted on and no its not ruff at all i did it right theres one parts thats ruff becuz i missed it thesecond coat but mine is almost like stock u got to keep doin coats when its wet not try and it soaks right up bro!....whys your stuff sag??
