If you could see Extreme Dimensions make a new part for cobalt/g5 what would it be?

Then something a little different. Why buy an entire trunk when all most of us want is a lip ?? It may cut some sales in the trunk dept. but i bet they make more $$ in sales by selling a cheaper lip.
At the same time why make diff style lips , skirts etc. they already make them and anything new would cut into existing sales so i think your argument is irrelevant. End rant lol
My argument is irrelevant? :-P
Ok...well....show me the different style lips that extreme dimensions makes that fit the SS bumpers? Different style immediately excludes the OEM cf lip btw. Nextly most skirts flow with the kits they are made from. Until you show me how my argument is invalid I don't see how my point is irrelevant. :-)

i would just like to have a carbon replacement blade for my high rise that would be useful for downforce, if the side mounts could handle it. If they made a totally bolt on tjin trunk, i would also look into that. By bolt-on i mean switch lights, bolt on. Too many aftermarket parts have to be fitted, trimmed, etc, and i just don't have time to mess with getting it to fit right.
Would get a bolt-on carbon tjin trunk, and ss styled hood, if they made the hood. Most carbon hoods now other than the stock, are just ugly, with either huge scoops, or too much going on, on them. Anyone make the simple carbon hood that i commented on before? Thinking modern perf used to sell them, not anymore.
And I think ED makes an oem CF hood still

So all the time r&d'ing the trunk and producing it....just to toss it out and use the spoiler makes sense how? Why buy the whole trunk if you just wanted the lip, like you said? Because they make money that way, and they are the only ones producing them. Cobalt people have to not be cheap if they want to buy the piece. wasn't discounting or calling anyone's ideas "irrelevant", just illogical. They r&d the trunk because there was a market and demand. But why spend money on a entire trunk when all we want is a spoiler/lip ???
And being cheap ???? How about practical ... Buy a $600 trunk just to have the tijin lip, when they can make a lip that costs half that and looks similar. I bet they can sell more than 2x the amount of spoiler/lips than tijin trunks

Me and nova are on the same page and by lip i meant spoiler lip not a bumper lip.

You could always make your own or get one custom made if you don't want the trunk.
They played the tjin trunk intelligently, imo. You get a lightweight trunk and molded spoiler. Two mods in one.
And yes, to me, it's being cheap. 600 is not a lot. It will just take a few weeks of saving. Compared to other platforms with similar mods, it's really less expensive. But you just wanting the lip proves my point, imo.
But we are really only guessing at what we think they are selling and profit margins and stuff. I'm sure they have somebody there who thought this out already. :-)
So I think we can agree to disagree. I don't find your point irrelevant at all, just a difference of opinion.

Pitbull that hood isn't too bad, i would still like the single scoop, but may consider this one. It does look alot like the g8, and slightly out of place on a chevy.
Snake- dont get me wrong, i think the style of the trunks is nice, but in the end lots of people want the spoiler, and buy the trunk. My view would be different if my car was another color than black. Kind of silly to spend alot on a balck trunk when my cars already black. They look great on every other car, especially when matched with a cf hood. I still might think about one if i don't have to spend weeks prepping it for install. I work 55 hrs a week, and my time is short when it comes to projects ( still haven't welded out the quarters fully on my nova that i started 2 yrs ago). If i can find a hood i was interested in ( also minimal prep time) i might pull the trigger on both.
Still would be interested first in a strong blade replacement for the high rise spoiler.
