OKay, so i have my 3rd gen projectors that i want to change the LED on the Halo ring.
I have it taken off and i don't know what to do now. I know how to solder and all that its just the part where i take out the LEDs.




THey are the two holes RED/BLACK


I think i might just make a bigger hole or something?

 

if you make the holes bigger you might have a problem plugging them...then you'll have a chance of getting condensation in your lights. which sucks. the hardest part of the whole project is taking out and putting these LEDs back in

Nope it isn't without taking the whole headlight apart. And if you're going to do that get some CCFL rings

 

Gen 3's must be different than the Gen 1's then...

well I mean obviously they are different cause of the different generation...I mean like how the halos are lit up.

i should have gotten 1st gen

 

the halo's are going to be able to be taken out without disassembling the whole headlight sorry.
