I have a buddy who does the "plating", way better outcome. Let me know if you're interested, Might get a spare set of interior door handles to have done, one of mine is missing a chunk and the other is peeling.
He does a ton of work for his fellow minitruckers, I love his vents he has done in his retro-themed S-10.

I like chrome and all (my car is proof of that) but I think doing the dash pieces would end up looking goofy. Small accents in the interior work well, like my vents, but to me that would just be distracting.
Ehh...only certain things should be chrome...for example NCC-2000 is very tasteful with his chrome parts...but the trim pieces and stuff...I can assure you if you did it...20 minutes later you would be on ebay trying to find factory trim pieces for cheep.
I dunno, it might be cool and it might not. They have that and they have something called ghost chrome that looks a lot like brushed chrome kinda, I was sorta thinking about that too because I'm so tired of the stock silvers crappy quality. I've kept mine in really good shape, but even with all of that, it's starting to flake in places, which is really making me want to redo it in something and clearcoat it.
Here is the link for the ghost chrome.
