This.

You can also use a small plastic putty knife if you are careful and use the most important tool of all...patience

I don't know if you guys would consider this a cheap mod, but today I was getting parts for my Jeep at a local junk yard. I mentioned that I had a Pontiac G5 and the guy told me there was a totaled one and 2 wrecked Cobalts in the back. He told me that for $15 I could take anything that I could carry out.

Got me some new trim, some new door bezels, some new badges, and various other toys.

dude thats awesome. its rare for a cobalt to come into the junkyards up here. and certainly wouldn't be all you can carry for $15

I went to the local sticker shop and they printed the design on some vinyl. It is pretty sticky but the best thing is heating up the vinyl with a hairdryer. The heat makes it sticker and more manageable. You can stretch it around the corners and it reduces air bubbles when heated. Hope this helps!

a local sticker shop? hmmm like, a fedex/kinkos? i guess if i could find a carbon fiber pattern perhaps i can go about doing my interior, instead of using paint, but fleckstone is a really good idea.

I don't know about fedex/kinkos does stuff like that. Try a place that makes vinyl stickers for business vehicles or big signs. Painting is a good idea too! Good thing about the vinyl is that you can always take it off without damaging your dash.

I know right man? It worked out real well for me, and there were actually quite a few so uh, if anybody needs parts I'll just charge a little bit of a dumpster diving fee + shipping.

By the way, my old CF style trim is for sale...

I just installed an MPX Shorty antenna. It was like $20. Made a HUGE difference in the car's appearance. It even seems to compliment the ridiculous spoiler.

The hardest part was getting the other one off. You'll want to use two wrenches / pliers, one to hold the antenna bracket in the trunk and one to twist the antenna. It took like 5 - 10 minutes. Reception seems to be about the same, but i never listed to the radio anyway.

I might have missed it, but did anyone ever say Window tint?

I got mine done for less than $200, which when you're talking about turbos and catback systems comes out pretty cheap.
