Love the color

They dont blind people...we have rear facing reflectors unlike some other cars. something along those lines tho.

I thought you got projectors and didn't install them or something.

He will NOT have that cut off. He WILL have hot spots and light scatter all over the place. Look up pics of stock reflectors with HIDS in them at night time; not just in this car, but any car. It looks cheap and like ass.

HIDS in stock halogen housing is a in my book. Of course they're not going to look blinding standing up and taking a picture of them in the daytime!! Kneel down car level as if you were a driver in another car to the left of your headlights at night time and tell me why you think this **** is illegal. Even the projectors with HIDS in them suck

I'm just voicing my opinion. Sorry to offend anyone, but Halgoen reflectors are meant for Halogens, not HIDS. If you go HID get the D2R or D2S as it has a shield at the top of the bulb to not produce glare like this without a projector meant for HIDS (like you see in older Acura TL models and early 2000s Maximas).

AND, if you're going to get HIDS - stop getting FORM over FUNCTION.

4300k is the way to go since HIDS go up the kelvin scale as they age. Buying 8-10k is absolutely useless! Let me know how driving in rain is with these lights. The MAX I would go is up to 6000k. Trust me, I know this ... I'm basically a HID guru without me ever stating besides now, "Hey, I'm a HID guru"

Oh, and don't believe that 3000k HIDs or yellow halogens cut through fog better. It's been proven that it doesn't.

I'm glad to see someone agree with me instead of saying, "I can see perfectly fine in rain with 10k HIDS". You know you can't, you're just in denial since you'd rather have form over function.

In my book if you're going to do HID; RETROFIT or NOTHING!

true, I'm glad you didn't loose your col like most people do and get defensive!

I'm just trying to educate - that's all.

If you want 8k, then get it. I'm just stating facts about HID's, etc that some people may not know and if I can teach one person something, then I'm happy!

I think WantedSS/TC needs to CALM DOWN!

I got custom yellow HID's in REFLECTOR housings and let me tell you, i walked really far in front of my car and turned around and I couldnt see ****! LMAO. They are bright, not blinding like high beams in your face, but they are a very bright headlight to look at head on. I admit it, I know it, I bought custom yellow for looks not function, as what is function in a headlight? putting light in front of you so you can see? well theres light in front of me, still either the same amount or MORE then stock bulbs, so to me, there functional and they look good. Same with 10K and such, not pointless, just they dont light up that last parking spot that 4,500K do. If you want a blue looking light that is better than stock, then 8,000K and 10,000K are what you want. I think calling them stupid or pointless is pretty dumb cause its a ****** lightbulb. it lights up, shines on ****, and you drive.

And SUPRISINGLY no1 flashed me yet. I know they probobly should, and driving up to MD my buddy Clayton got in front of me and was like "damn your headlights are bright as ****" lol.

I'm calm!! I'm calm!!!

There's this one dude in my area in a lowered s10 that has 12ks and he has them pointed up like high beams! I could get out and smack him a couple times when he's sitting behind me at a red light, but I won't do that ... but I feel like it!

oh man, well just wait til he meets a cop who isn't happy about that!

Back when I was 16 and didn't know much about cars (mechanically) the headlights on my grand am were raised up from the previous owner. I was always wondering why I'd get flashed from passer bys .... until the one time I was following a cop and he pulled over, let me pass and then pulled me over!

He said my headlights were too bright, etc. blah blah blah. I fought it and won since they were normal halogens and he was saying they're these blue lights (they were the factory GE halogen bulbs in there yellow as sin) , but it's still the principle!

even thou it is pointless to have HID in stocks, our car is too low to the ground to blind anyone with hid in stocks.
