Installed new speakers on front doors, with a twist....PICS!!

just installed new speakers for the front doors. to put it short, i hate the way the speakers look, you cant even see em. Got new Rockford Fosgate Speakers and didnt want them to be hidden behind the stupid mesh.

Sooooooooooo.....out with mesh

(jeez!! didnt realize how crappy the pics came out)

I think they came out good ......

Thanks for looking

Looks clean... but hopefully you live in a good part of town though since aftermarket speaker grates are an advertisement to thieves.

How do they sound compared to the Pioneers that came out of it?

Cannot go wrong with a set of Rockford's though.

They sound crisper. I mean it's not much but you can tell. I switch the settings for the fronts to sound only and there's more bass to it than the pioneers. The pioneers sound more uh mono. Know what I mean

That was easy! **** I shouldve took a pic!! I bought a black n decker soldering kit and it brings attachments. One of the attachments is a surgical blade. It's heats it up as hot as a solder and you can cut thru plastic real easy. One of the best buys I did

Looks really good man and I like how it adds a bit of color to an otherwise boring bottom half of our doors. Sweet job!!

That looks awesome man, the grills look good in there, I would not do it with all speakers though, I think that yours are one of the few that have grills that look good like that, others dont. Good work man
