I curious what the black ones look like on a red cobalt...ive been looking at them...but there a little pricey, waiting till they come down a little bit...

The price will come donw with time.
I remember when cavalier headlights where going for 300-400 a set. And now there around 100 a set.
And there will be more lights out to. Just give it time. The Cobalt is going to be more populer then the cavalier was and there are like 7 headlights out for the cavalier.

How is the light output at night? Do you still have high beams? Those two things are very important here in deer country...

they're painted so I doubt anything has changed, including still having high beams.

i still dont understand where everything plugs into...and how the dual projector setup works when we only have one bulb? plus i dont know if my HIDs would fit into those projectors

yeah i would like hid's in these as well im sure a custom shop could make the hid's work but they would have to be hid's made for those types of headlights that the new housing is using
