Hi i just got my new headlights today and wanted to know if its easy to install even for me who has never installed headlights before.
I got these headlights

Whats are things i need to know, keep in mind im a big noob when it comes to this stuff lol.

Thanks

****EDIT****Nvm about installing it, i wont have time today ill just get them installed by a pro on wed.

Just one question for people who have this headlight, do the stock lights have 2 side marker lights bulb? Because i see 2 holes for them in the new headlight so do i need one more side marker bulb ?

headlights are very easy to get in and out there is a how to for them if you search for painting your headlights the first half of the how to is all about removing them. and those projectors should be plug and play which is even better. and about the 2 side markers no we do not have 2 of them. one of them is your signal and the other is your side marker. take the factory harness and they will match up to these headlights only one hole they will go in. have fun and don't take it to a pro unless you like wasting money.

well its really up to you. its quite easy and takes maybe half hour at tops for someone who hasn't done them before. but the hardest part is getting them aimed as you have to be on a flat surface and that part can take a little bit of time. maybe try and find someone on here in your area that could help you to save ya some money because a shop will charge you their hourly rate to do all that. and will probably be about $100

**Update**

Well i just got home from the dealer with the lights installed and guess what....$110!!!! WOW i got raped hard. any who they LOOK SO sick, when i put on aftermarket alarm on all the blue LCD flash 3 times.

One thing i'm worried about is i'm getting a little fogging inside the conner, I live in Canada and it was snowing today and when i put my car inside the garage it start to fog up. Is it ok for the lights or not? Can i get it fixed somehow?

the only ways i know to fix this is to pull them off your car, and blow a hair dryer into them for an hour or so, then let them sit and acclimate to the type of weather you have... the other option is to not only pull them off your car, but then take them apart and re-seal the lenses, the company who produces those lenses is very very very conservative with their sealent, and often leave gaps in it which allow moisture and slight climate changes to get into and affect youre headlights. which is why i switched back to stock... i love projectors... but none of the ones on the aftermarket right now are really done well enough for the price you pay for them.

So is having that fog inside the headlight bad or nothing big to worry about? It goes away after a few min's .

if it goes away i wouldn't worry about it. after a while it shouldn't do it at all. but if you want a comparison the corvette headlights do the same thing until they warm up.

ya, sorry straight up answer ='s no, there isn't a problem at all. and that is true, I completely forgot that the corvette headlights did that, but their lenses do it on a much smaller scale than ours >_> i just don't understand why they havn't made projectors standard on all vehicles, i mean, you get far better lighting even without an HID kit in comparison to our "reflector" housings.... I just don't get it, but for now i'm stuck w/ them cause my lil project is on hold.

For the tails it's just remove the bulb socket thing and 2 nuts holding each one on.

Ouch my friend... OUCH...

Next time man at least give it a shot. when you are doing something this easy with a how to and all that you should at least give it a try.. worst case you just put the stockers back in, THEN pay someone to do it. I had never done anything more than an intake when i put in my springs and that ended up being one of the easiest install ever.
