interior dome light

ok seeing as how the dome light on the 2.0 looks like @$$ (not sure about the sedan) im going to be remodeling my interior roof. i will be replacing the complete liner with an all new black one and it will have small 3mm leds in it the will light up when you open the door. i think that it will look pretty decent, however i wont be able to finish this mod until i get back from iraq.
i was just wondering about some opinions from you guys on the matter.
seeing as how my car is the sunburst orange the led's of course will be orange
so any opinions or thoughts on it would be great
the roof would look something to the effect of this:

replacing the domelight and complete headliner

by dome light you mean the two lights on the rearview?

i think it would look sweet with the black headliner and a properly positioned dome light

lol thats weird.. the domelite must be mounted pretty far back..

as for his plans with the led's i think i'd have to see a pic of it all finished. cause it could look bad ass or like ass.. but either way it will be a diffrent idea wich will be cool

i dont know how it wil look with leds, they may be too big and bulky and look like ass in the day time if i were you i would look into some type of fiber optics.. they are alot smaller and less noticable... but any way it will be something diffrent

the star type pattern in the whole headliner is pretty nice. if you can do it, to where the LED bulbs themselves dont stick through, and its still flat and not bumpy. id say do it.

i wouldnt mind redoing my whole headliner with just a massive set of LED's, and rig a switch. Im going to redo my headliner anyway, simply because im doing a full blue/black interior. and the headliner is tan.

thatd be cool though if you can do it good.

ok thanks kissmyss for the support, but
im gonna make so that you can't even notice the led's in the daytime unless they are on. the leds will be completely flush with the headliner so i think its gonna look pretty good
