just a quick question. so like many people my interior door handles are begining to peel, as opposed to replacing them with another chrome covered piece of crap from gm i was looking into plasti dipping them, however i've never used plasti dip. SO what are some things to know if im going down this route. Does it just spray on like spray paint? will i need to spray clear over it?
any info will be helpful also where can i get plasti dip and does it come in more than one color? please and thank you for your help in advance.

the chrome replacement will probably last a few years, pastidip will last like a week unless your careful

 

just de-chrome it with bleach and flat blat spray it

 

yeah just pull them off, strip chrome with bleach then sand and paint. plastidip wont last long it will just start to peel as well.

 

so just use regular spray paint?

 

Man I was lucky to get my replaced under warranty. Jump chrome finish.

If they come completely apart you could always have them wrapped.

 

yeah the chrome wrapping is completely missing on the drivers side and i really need to fix it somehow it looks like crap
