Interior Floor Wet in Rain
The Ion's up front were under the dashboard and drained behind the fenders IIRC, my lanky arm could make it to them, however the Cobalt I'm unsure. Imagine it's the same, just more of a pain with our dash.
Rear should drain in the trunk area, unsure the of the backseat reference as I found mine in the trunk. However IIRC it was a rubber 90' piece and the middle of the 90' was limited, and needed to be bored out to more effectively drain and not clog. While the Ion drains had more of two lips could you trim/widen by cutting up further (think vag).

Take it to the dealer and have them blow out your HVAC (A/C) drain line. Mine was clogged and was causing water to drain into the passenger compartment and blowing it out solved the problem!
Ok i dried my floor and woke up to rain. Walked out to my car and my floor on the drivers side is wet again. So wtf where would it be coming from? I thought it was coming in while driving but it obviously isn't. It's gotta be coming though the drivers door somewhere but i have no idea. I'm stumped. Any suggestions?
So this time, the front didn't get wet, but the back did. And I found some EVIDENCE!

The inside of that seal was dry all the way up the door except where you see water in it at the bottom there. I tried peeling black the grey paneling that was there over the sealing and it had some water in that track, I couldn't tell how far.
So it would seem water is coming in right there somehow, and possibly doing it in other areas at different times for whatever reason causing my front to get wet etc. I think the pic of my rear floor getting wet proves it's not my door speakers letting water in... right?

I had this same exact problem coming in the same exact way in my old Cobalt LS, no sunroof and had stock speakers. I never figured the problem out. I once had about a half inch of water in my passengers side. It got pretty ridiculous sometimes, and other times it would rain for a couple days and the carpet would be almost 100% dry.
The front 2 drain by the fenders and the 2 rear I'm not sure as I didn't follow them when I cleaned mine
These are the only drains correct?
If u need any more help with this just let me know. It really is easy to do.
I had water driping down from the coner to the pillar and down to the floor to make a puddle when it rained
For the sunroof yess only ones... u can see the holes if you open the sunroof but id suggest taking your head liner off and actually. Diconnect them from the sunroof. Its a lot easier and u will clean it better

Sorry for all of the questions.
Once u see it u will know wat I mean.
As for other drains I'm not sure. Your could check your speakers like someone said
Its easier if its completely off. But wat I did was take the pillasr off and just sort of bend the headliner down and stick my hand in and. Pull it off its just like a rubber hose that connects the sunroof to the plastic drain hose and is most likely where its clogged.

And what about the rear?
this **** reminds me of a guy that used to work with me, took his brand new 350z back in '03-'04 (can't remember, long time ago, lol), he spent all his money on it, got a twin turbo set up with all kinds of other ****, anyways, dude took it to a local speedshop and they not only fucked the turbo installation and had oil leaking everywhere, they drilled on a bodykit on from the outside with some big ass screws, they also forgot to install the grommets on the firewall he drove through a puddle on a rainy day and had about an inch of water flooding the driver side, oh and the shop did not want to assume responsibilty after all this damage to a $35K+ car, not incluiding the upgrades the installed, kid had close to $45k or more total investment, first and only time I've seen a grown man cry over a toy, lol, same shop also installed a rear tire backwards on a friends bike (they have arrows on them to make it idiot proof, lol)
U don't have to pull the hole line off I pulled it towards the door and just put air to it.. there's plenty of slack.
Like I said on the other post the 2 front drain at the front fender back idk...
