Interior Kits

Hi everyone,

I wanting to ask if there has been any kits that you have seen to improve the interior appearance of the Cobalt ss. I'm specifically looking for something to replace that plastic silver cover on the audio console. Any suggestion? Thanks

Ive seen a "How To" I believe on how to take out the trim and he put the carbon fiber over lay over it. It look pretty tight. One of my future mods.

Sweet, thanks man. Cuz im really serious about doing this. Is he the one with the carbon fiber dash trim? Or he just has carbon fiber overlays for sale that look tight and realistic?

saw a red cf overlay on a cobalt interior....from a distance it looked good, but once you got up close (like just looking in from outside the window), it looked like total ****...you could still see the silver parts around the edges...I dunno what kind of kit or whatever this guy had, but it was awful, so I don't know if I can endorse that idea.

I've also seen a really nice blacked-out painted interior, flat black not gloss

.

Hi everyone,

Holy ****! I've never been welcome to a forum like this before. Kudos to CobaltSS.net. Thanks for the welcome guys.

Ok, I did think about a DIY project, but I haven't attempted anything like that before, so I' was just being careful. Plus I wanted to get imput from you guys(Idea's). I really like the flat black idea, as I would like my balt just blacked out entirely. Hmmm... I wonder if I take my parts to a body shop that does paint finishes and have it done porfessionally. I'm sure it shouldn't be that much. What do you guys think? Thanks

LOL, why does everyone think of Hawaii as a great place. All I can say is Like all vacations, they must end sometime. Hawaii is for that only, great at that, but not to live. I'm a Floridian for life. ORLANDO!!!!!
