Thumbs up Interior led accent lighting (56k go for a jog and lose some weight)

this is what happens when i get bored lol

put 10 leds per door... 5 below the arm rest and 5 in the tray in the door

i used 20 11,000 Millicandela Rated leds (clear lens from DIGIKEY) and 20 680 ohm resitors

it cost me under 20 dollars and some fun to pass the time while its a typhoon outside

i put the switch in the tray next to the steering wheel in the last pic to keep the install totally clean

now remember its still daytime here... thats how bright these suckers are!!

hope you likey

Looks great! Personally I would have mounted them just a tad lower so the LEDs aren't viewable, but that's just me!

Makes me want to get some white leds and do the same

Great Job!!!

yes you wire the resistor to the positive side of the led

the led looks like this l..) (the periods represent the leads) there is a flat side of the circle and the lead closest to that is ground.. the other is the power(looking from the bottom of the led)

yes you will need to attach them yourself (you have to solder them or risk it not working)

if your buying 20 it will cost you 13 bucks... the reason i cannot order them for you is because its on my work account( they ship to my work then id have to ship it to you)

the part number on digikeys website is 516-1375-nd for the red leds and the resistors are 680ebk-nd

the price breaks are listes ( more you buy less you pay)

Very nice work! Looks good in red, I did mine in blue and hid the LED's but yea, soo nice work! A word of warning, lighting becomes addicting, you'll start noticing dark spots everywhere and before you know it you end up like me! And I'm not even done yet!!
