interior neon problem

Alright so teh otehr day i picked up some green 9" interior neon tubes, hooked em up and wired em....now for some reason when i turn on my switch only the right tube lights up, (passenger) so i though hmm...switched the neon plug end in the transformer and they both came on (doesnt make sense)....than next time i go to turn it on only the driver side works....WTF? i can assume the transformer blows but...is there anything i can do about it?

usually with 9 inch tubes they each have to have their own transformer box on a seperate line, make sure that its hooked up like that and they dont meet until the switch and also make sure whichever fuse you are using is rated at enough power.

I assumed if the fuse wasnt powerful enough than it wouldnt run either, rather than just 1 neon, There's only one transformer for the 2 neon tubes on one line...which is why i dnt get why only 1 works...
