well first off, cut that cig adapter off then pull off your dash and hook it up to the back of your cig lighter,.....really easy man, WHITE=12V BLACK=Ground

on the neons wire, one will have a stripe and one wont, if one has a white stripe that means its 12V but if one has a black stripe (highly unlikely) that means it is ground

Edit: you will probably want to run a switch to. that is really easy also, just run the 12v wire to one side of the switch and run the 12V(neon) wire to the other side of the switch, (assuming the switch has 2 terminals)

I think neons look better in the footwells, b/c it has 180 degrees of light...
& if you want to make them strobe & stuff like that, than neons suck...

well first of all do NOT run a 12v to a switch....run the GND to the switch and directly connect the 12v to the power source.

start at the dash around the ebrake lever , it all just unsnaps, simply pull and your dash will come apart, use the cig lighter near your ebrake as you will most likeely use the switch around that area

some switches require 12V ie. lit switches, but thats good to know, i didnt think it mattered

i got pilot in my car and redline in the grill but the grill has built in white strobes what i did was go to the passenger side take off the panel on the left with the little vent in it by ur feet n u got the fuse box there look at the labels n find the amp then cut the cig plug off n divide the wires about 8 inchs or so n then there both see thro but one has a white line in it thats the pos hook it up to a switch and then get a piece of wire n hook it up to the fuse just pull the fuse out of the amp and grab the wire for wrap it around the fuse and plug it back in and hook it up to the switch ( a 2 terminal switch) and then find a peice of metal by the ebrake its already got a ground on it un screw it and put a wire around it and run it to ur neon light and twist the wire together n turn to switch on it should light up if so then tape the negs together and hide the neon and install the switch ur done my pics are here

Sorry about the crap image, it was more centered around the cup holders not the neons.

when you guys are connecting the wires, are you soldering or just twisting them up and using some tape?

Soldering is the safer and more secure bet, but you can get away with just twisting and making sure all metal is covered with tape. I have tons of wiring in my car, and it would have been a pain to solder it all so some is taped.
