interior ss emblem

my friend lost mine when we were painting the trim. anyone know of a site where i can buy a replacement interior ss emblem?

They only come on the dash trim above the glovebox. Gotta buy that or find someone selling one.

you can go to the dealer i think they are like 7$

fyi if you do this ask about the monte carlo ss badges they look way better imo (if you like red that is)

no dice on the one from the dealer. i'd need to buy the whole trim piece just for the emblem.

Yeah, they're part of the trim. There were a number of them that mistakenly didn't come with the SS badge from the factory, and it usually ended up requiring a full trim replacement under warranty.

My 2010 doesn't have it. I just assumed the 2010 didn't come with it just like it doesn't have the outside GM logo's. Should the 2010 have the SS on the inside?

My '09 didn't have it, they replaced it under warranty. Actually, they gave me the piece, I installed it myself and still have the old trim piece.
