i installed my harness bar a week o so ago. and i noticed the 3 bolts on one side pulled in a lot more than the other side. like one side the the bolts are showing threads out of the nuts and the other side the the bolts didnt tighten that far in.

But bar is fully bolted in and installd correctly

did u have that issue?

looks great btw.

If you torqued one side down before the other, that will happen. Did you follow the directions and leave all the bolts loose while installing it and then tighten them down after everything was in? That could be your issue...

...I would try loosening all the bolts and then re-tightening them while alternating sides, not torquing one down all the way and then going to the next.

u may have to lengthen or shorten the down rod spherical joint, cars are not the same in that area, thats why a rod end is used. and a spacer between the rod end is supplied. some cars need a washer between the top seat belt anchor bolt and the harness bar plate, so the seat belt does not rub against the harness bar plate and not retract easily.

Ya i did notice that my seat belt doesnt retract that easily but i saw I can just add a washer to push the plastic away from the harness bar plate.

ya the bottom rod end has the spacer it in and everything, the bar fit perfectly. just noticed that on the 1 side the 3 bolts tightened up a lot more than the other 3 bolts on the other side.

i followed the directions perfectly also

here is a quick pic of the lime green bar u made for kxrider. he parted his car out so I grabbed the bar off him. Even tho I am a blue theme, this color is soo bad ass!

dont let them, or unbolt the main bar.

sorry i am not mike lol but figured I would chime in my ideas. I am saying no to back seat drivers because those 6 bolts take too long to take out lol
