Just for fun Cobalt pics.

It snowed pretty respectably here today in Houston, Texas. I think the last time it snowed was six or seven years ago, only once for a few hours, and it wasn't very much at all.

These pictures might not be terribly interesting for some of you further north, but remember, this is Houston snow. The stuff of myths and legends.

Moving along.
About a year ago, not ten minutes after I posted a new thread about getting my vanity plate, some chap inexplicably thought it would be a clever contribution to post an all new topic simply to ask "How long till this car is keyed???"
thread here: https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/lounge-42/how-long-till-car-keyed-151879/

Well, it's been almost a year and nobody has keyed it, so I decided to up the ante.

Nah, I'm just messing around. I found that badge on the ground when I was about ten, and it was just stuck there earlier with painter's tape. But I have already renewed my sarcastic plate for another year.

Again man, this is the Texas coastline. Not New York.

For here, the snow we saw today was like something out of the Twilight Zone. Driving down the freeway, just seeing actual snow coming down was great; reminded me of being back in Colorado.

It's actually relatively consistent: it seems to snow one time every six or seven years. Snowed a couple times in the 80's, once in the 90's, and now a couple times in the 00's.

Very interesting that it snowed here before some other parts of the country, but when I say it'll snow once, I mean just that.

It snowed a good few hours on December 4th, but right now at 6 AM it's 50 degrees out. Maybe it'll snow again in another six or seven years.

Must say, that looks a whole lot nicer than the 5 foot high drift behind my garage Sunday morning....my back is still killing me

Stupid thing is, we get a little dump like that early in the year (mid October) and it's like the slack jawed yokels around here forget what the hell it is and how to drive in it - it's the same **** as last year people, learn to friggin drive in it or stay the hell home!

Love the plate btw
