Just got my tint done today. Looks pretty good. I got 20% all around with a 5" lip on the windshield. I didn't have time to take any pics because by the time I got home it was dark out. I know it's the first day so I can't fully judge yet, but it's lighter than what I wanted so I'm not too sure what to do about that.

Now that I've lived with it for a day, I really really like it. I can't help wanting a tad darker (maybe 15%), but it's still awesome.

 

mine is lighter than i initially wanted [i have 20/25] but its ok. you still cant see me at night hehe

 

Yea I like that you can't really see in at night but I wanted that more during the day too. But like I said I only had it from "dusk" on. Tomorrow will be the big test. I'm not sure what I'm going to do if I still want it darker...

 

i wouldnt mind mine being a little darker but its illegal already so i dont really want to push it lol

 

post pics soon man thats exactly what i was going to have done to my car, id like to see what its going to look like beforehand. i had 20% on my old car and i thought it was plenty dark. too dark and you might be pushin it with the cops more than you already are

 

yea but i think 20 is the way to go.. u wanna be able to see out of your windows at night and if u went any darker it'd be hard to

 

i had 20% all around but i had to peel it.... damn cops, i now only have 35% all around....

 

any darker and you cant look out for cops when your speeding

 

All good points. I'm sure it will grow on me. Don't get me wrong, I like it a million times better than it was without it. And the other thing is, like you guys said, it will stand out a little less to cops. But then again, it's gonna be the same ticket no matter how dark the tint is

 

I have 18% on the 4 side windows and 5% on my hatchback window and I love it! DOWN WITH THE BORED COPS WHO WANNA PICK ON ME CAUSE I BROKE THE LAW!!

 

i got 20 and i find it dark! i would never go anything darker or lighter then 20

 

Haha, I'm the complete opposite. I think 20% is the lightest I would ever go. I originally wanted to do around 15%, but went with 20% instead. But like I said, it still looks way better than nothing at all haha.

Yeh i have my back three blacked right out, very nice that way and for the front i'm hoping to get a 15% or so this summer

on my black one i had back and two little windows at 5 with passenger and driver door at 20... also had huge sunstrip at 5.... man it was sexy and i loved it

Looks very good. I oringinally hasd 35% all around and loved it. After the second ticket it was time to remove the tint =(

 

Yea I'm way more afraid of cops now. Ironically, the second I pulled out of the tint place BAM, there was a cop about 50 down the road haha. I could just picture having the tint for like one minute before getting pulled over for it. That's my luck.
