Just ordered SS badge for front grille

I will be removing the chevy symbol and putting the SS up front just like another member did. The SS logo is in stock, there was 13 of them in stock at the Woodstock parts plant in Ontario.

Cost me 13 bucks.

Jason

Will be here tomorrow

Huh, I'm doing the exact same thing today. I took of my bowtie to find four holes behind the badge.....and the SS doesn't quite cover them all......looks alil off so I didn't put it on yet. Any ideas? BTW, my SS/SC is yellow

I have been debating what to do, Mines black. I think where you might see a bit of the hole, I will put a small piece of black electrical tape, you will NEVER see it!

Well the pics the guy had on the website here of his red SS, I could not really see the holes, but then again, they were not UP CLOSE

I don't know why I didn't think of this earlier, I can have my fav. shop cut a vinyl bowtie to put where the factory one on the front is and then I can re-apply the SS badge to it. Ta-Da!! problem solved.

I did it a while ago, there are actually about 4 or 5 holes believe it or not. If you center the SS badge perfectly, you will not notice any of the holes at all.

Well I dunno how you did it, I spent a good 30min trying to get it to cover all the holes, I think because my car is yellow, the shadow's from the holes (the edges) show really well. I got the vinyl yesterday from Xtreme Bros. the local mod shop and they cut the one side angled.....went back today asked for a piece of scrap and made my own. Looks great. It sets off the white/silver ness of the SS badge and still let's ppl know it's a chevy!
