Keeping foglights on when using high beams

I am still waiting on my 09 SS/TC order, but I was wondering if anyone wrote a how-to on keeping the fog lights ON when you use the high beams (either flash to pass or regular high beams)? I am considering HIDs for the foglights and keeping the 9007s as halogen (Sylvania XtraVision FTW). Flashing the HIDs on and off is bad for the salts in the capsule.

I haven't seen a fix for this, but I wish there was one.

nope you will have to do some wiring and youll need a relay to have this done as far as i know no one has done it. its actually illegal to have the fogs still on when you have high beams on too.

im sure you could wire it using a diode, so that turning on the highbeams would also power the foglights,
you could also use a relay to do the same thing.

the only way other the the DRL fuse tap with a relay is to splice into your high beam with a relay i belive.

I do not use a relay, good ol add-a-fuse. 2 years going strong.

when you just press back on the turn signal switch a little bit to flash it doesnt cut your fogs off. When you click it all the way back to put your high beams on it does cut the fogs off. Flashing you should be fine. I dont find myself flashing cars all that much for me to worry.

Just carry a flashlight and youll be fine
