where did ya buy them at and are they hard to open? our doors feel kinda heavy compared to other cars ive thought about getting some since our doors are so big some times its hard to open them in tight parking spots.

Doors are light to open for me and i bought it from a guy on the Ontario Cobalt Club site and it was brand new kit and had a friend install them all last week. Paid 6 for the kit and 6 for the install and its clean install too.

Very easy for lifting too ive even had friends say its so light.

i really like the look, but i've riden in alot of cars with them, and quality is different from every kit... i want something that is smooth to open smooth to close and that is more functional... alot of these kits are just plain shitty and you have to physically lift the door with two hands and shut it with two hands... now i knew a girl with a rx-8 with lambos and hers you could lift with a pinky and shut with a pinky... if i get a kit this is how i want it to be. can we get a video of you lifting from inside the car like from a passenger view of you opening the door?

Yes, Lambo doors are designed to go straight up. That is why they call these butterfly doors. They don't open the same as lambo doors. Still looks good though

Ya I can lift my door with just my left hand and I'm right handed i just grab the handle and lift up then pull down with it and close normal.

Not sure on parking lots yet because I'm car pooling to work and its still my buddies turn so next week I will finally experience that.

Also vid will be no problem, prob do it tomorrow.

I thought about doing this also just because our doors are so big and it is a pain in the butt to get in and out of in a parking lot. Looks nice!

Doors look aight. But still aren't they hard to open in the parking lot trying to hit the big cars or SUVs? since the open up and then to the side.

i like the look of them on the coupe and i like the way they look on the rx-8 as well. but if i was going to do anything to my doors i'd probably go with suicide, unfortunetly i don't think they make kits cause u have to relocate the hinge etc...
