Lame... Check this out
Okay, so fedex drops off a package for me today, my new headlights, this is what i ordered, it appears to be stock w/ black housing and smoked out reflectors...

this is what showed up...

Now not only are they not the headlights i THOUGHT i ordered... Check out the fact that the little chrome bowl that covers the bulb... isnt there... it was busted off and it scratched the **** out of the inside of my headlight...
So there was tons of little white glass shards on the black housing, so i flushed it out with water.. Bad Idea... now i have abunch of water spots inside the lense ontop of tons of scratchs... wtf! hah

ummn i know that sucks that the headlights were all messed up. But one question is if the reflected is smoked/blacked out how will the light reflect to drive at night? it would be pretty weak i think. So id send them a nice email about how their product was not up to snuff with what they avertised in the pics and u want a refund or a new set with free shipping or something that will make u wanna keep u as a cosumer.
to the OP
if the lights were damaged in shipping you should have sent them back, instead of flushing them out. it looks like from the pics you posted the only problem was the broken reflector(shipping) and the water damage(your fault)
if you cant get them replaced , you can always pull them apart and clean it , and canablize your oem lights to fix the black ones...but if thats the case you could have just blacked out your lights your self.
Btw I bought my gen 2 projectors from eBay two years ago and no problems. And they weren't cheap either
Well my rant was more on how members are flaming him for being cheap in which he wasn't.

What the heck is wrong with Ebay! I got a few things (including my projectors and B&M shiftplus) off there, and they still work! Sometimes you got a bad egg, in some carton. Just send em back and demand new ones. Or try telling them you will write the Better business bureau (bbb.org) if they dont fix/replace those. Try 3bspec.com for your projector needs!
i've gotten tons of stuff off ebay, ... guess it's just one of those things that just happens lol, no biggy, i got the headlights fixed and put them on and it looks fine to me
Return it. If they won't take a return, you could open a paypal dispute over item not as listed. Just email the seller and calmly (I said calmly) explain the issue (And show pics). Don't touch the feedback link yet since if you give negative feedback, it basically removes all incentive for them to rectify the issue. A large number of sellers on ebay will either send you a new one, or issue you a refund.
That being said, the lights on eBay are the EXACT SAME as you'll find on Cobalt Addiction or other non-ebay sites... the only difference is price.
Also, you have to be smart when on ebay... make sure you double check the seller's feedback rating and even read the feedback pages to make sure the seller is legit. It also helps to look at their negative feedback to check to see if the negative feedback was really their fault or if the buyer was being unreasonable.
