I'm sure you all have seen the hood blankets on sale at GM parts with the SS logo on it. Well, I saw one up close and for $125.00 its not worth it. Does anyone know where fairly large, about 5" in height, lettering can be bought in the matching SS font like our emblems in an iron on application??? White lettering with a silver border around it would be preferable.

 

Heres the way I look at this. Sure it is alot of money.....ive done stuff like this in the past to save money. I end up spending 50 to 75% as much as what I wanted cost plus they didnt look as good. I have one and they look great to me. If you buy one keep it and if you deside to trade the car in somebody on here will buy it so you can get some of your money back that way.r

 

I have the SS blanket on my SS/NA and had the Bowtie blanket on my 06 LS. Both looked great....yes, it's $ -- but hard to make it look better.

 

Never mind everybody. I bought some white Iron on paper for T-shirts from the computer store. Hand drew the SS emblem and scanned it into Dell photo shop. Enlarged it and printed it onto Iron on paper with basic ink-jet printer. Trimmed around SS emblem. Removed hood blanket and ironed on SS. Came out perfect. Will take some pics later.
