Does anyone live in Virginia and know the tinting laws for sure. I hear a bunch of different things. I know I can have my back window and my back quarter windows on my Cobalt SS/SC. But i don't know the percentage allowed on my front two and whats allowed on the top part of the windshield.. any input from VA residents would be great.

alright if that holds true.. this state is so stupid. Work vans can have no back windows what so ever.. but i can't black out my back window..

 

35% rear 50% front, it doesnt matter if you have out of state plates.
only if you have a skin condition that you can prove then you can have darker tint

 

va state law is 35% in the back and 50% in the front for cars.
suv's are 5% in the back(as dark as you want) and 50% in the front.

depending on where you are in va you can get away with darker. I got 20% in the back and 35% in the front.
