leather vs cloth (4 door SS interior)

Hey guys, just wondering if there is any difference in the 4-door interior between the cloth and leather package? (Besides the cloth or leather seats)

Basically what I want to know is: if I were to buy a 2.4 SS in cloth, could I swap in the GM leather seats and have an identical interior to one with a factory leather package.

Also how much would I expect to pay if i was to buy front and rear seats from GM in leather?

So the interior door panels are the only difference depending on cloth or leather (besides the seats)?

Pics?

bump.

I believe the SS/SC seats will fit in the sedan aswell. I believe the only diffrence in the two is that the sedan seats don't lean all the way forward. I hope that helps if you didn't know already. As far as the diffrence between the leather and non leather packages, I believe there is non from what I have seen. I was looking into getting a 4 door SS with leather for my wife but it seems that it only comes in gray leather, and that was not really appealing to us. So I thought about getting the cloth set up and finding a good set of used SS/SC seats to swap them out with. I haven't seen any hard evinced that it won't work, has anyone tried it, and if it worked do you have picks? Hope this isn't jacking you thread by the way.

Nope, its cool with me

(in the sedan) If you swapped the front seats with SS/SC seats (assuming that you could) what would you do with the back seat?

Recovering the side panels is pretty easy. All you need is a heat gun or hair dryer and some good spray on adhesive. Will elaborate if needed.

there are only 3 different seats.

the base, sport, and recaros

the sport seats are in nicer 2.2s, and all SS cars... the recaros were optional....

so, they would be swappable

If you buy them from GM it will be outrageously high, most likely over a grand. The cheaper route would be to go salvage, ebay, custom recover, or after market.

I LOVE my Recaros. Thats one reason I didn't go for an 07 when they went 0% even though I could have lowered my payment $17 dollars a month and had another brand new car, but NO Recaros. I talked to my uncle and tried to switch my sweats over to the new car but they said no because the minute I signed over my car they had a buyer but they didn't want the car unless it had the seats. I will miss those seats when I finally sell it.
