LED front corner lights?

Hey guys.

I just wanted to see if anyone has LED bulbs in their front corner lights (some amber ones). I replaced all the lighting in my car with LED (inside maps, brake/rear turn, license, 3rd brake, and reverse), but still just have normal Silverstars in my front corners. I always did like how the Silverstars were a little darker than the stockers, but I want to go 100% LED. The problem is that my local shop doesn't carry the amber ones (only red) so I have to get them online. I just wanted to see if anyone has any pics of theirs in? I think it'll look awesome.

Also, ever since I put the LED's in my brake/rear turns, when I use my turn signal, it blinks very fast. Is this because I still have normal bulbs in the front? I kinda assume so. I have no problem with it, I just wasn't sure.

Thanks!!

I have these in and love them along with the flashing leds for the brake lights as well. All you need to is put a 6 ohm resistor on each bulb for the turn signals and that will solve your blinker problem. http://superlumination.com/switchback.html

Yeah I did to but I didin't pass inspection with out the resistors. Some bullshit that only cops are only allowed to have strobe lights.

Yup went to 3 different inspection stations. The last one just brought my stock bulbs with me and changed them out right there. By the way Terry, car is looking good since I last saw it in PA.

dont buy from hid lights... they suck. And i have leds in the turn signals as well but they are the high powered ones (bought all my high powered leds from vleds on ebay) took me a while to adjust because the leds look brighter but when im up against the house in the dark the regulars seemed brighter then the led. plus the led have a more yellowish look

Really??? Never had a problem. I bought the resistors, 3157 reverse lights, all the other921's for liscence plate, 3rd brake light and marker lights from them.

i had led's in my blinkers for a while until they started going crazy, some led's like wouldn't light up and its would flash really fast lights its dieing, are there certain led replacments that can be used as blinkers or did those ones just suck?

ya I got some amber leds for the front turnb signal and they sent me red I got a hold of him to get replacements ando that never happened... and when I tqried to use them fpor the tails they had such shitty quality the prongs got bent just putting them in the housing. comparing them to the vled is like compairing a ford festiva to a corvette.

fyi th reason why the blinker flash faster is because the leds take alot less current then stock bulbs and on newer cars they are setup so the computer detects a low amount of current draw and flash faster to notify you a bulb is out, You must get a resistor to fix this problem

I ordered my front bulbs a few days ago. I went with the same company that I have for my tails so they're similar. I'll throw up some pics when I see what's up!

I bought some high powered ones from vleds on ebay, and after installing them, I really wasn't happy with how bright they were (they had three high powered LED's on the front, and I think about 18 amber LEDs around the perimeter to "fill out the reflector"). I thought they would be crazy bright, but they were actually nearly impossible to see in normal midday driving conditions. Also, one of the high powered ones on the front partially burnt out (I'd say it dropped down to about 10-15% of it's old light output) within the first three hours of using them.

I have LED tail lights (the ebay variety), did the inner-taillight LED mod, and have LED reverse lights, and I haven't had any problems with them, however.

I like how bright my normal DRLs are, and I don't think I'll be giving them up for LED's anytime soon. The technologies are getting better, but I think I'll wait for them to drop in price some more before I think about that again.
