I'm possibly going to be looking into making a custom PCB LED board to run an LED array in the tails.. it would be dope, but for now I'm researching how to go about doing it. still working on finding proper materials and wiring schemes for what I'm looking for

i think on a coupe it would look better to have the inner and outer tails blink secondly i dont think these look good on a coupe i think they would look better on a sedan

possibly may look good like say u have led rings in ur tails well make a small strip of say 5 leds on a straight line to go inbetween the led ring like a line right thru the middle ( this line would stay off until u hit blinker) when u hit blinker the led ring goes out and the led line turns on and blinks the 5 leds 1 2 3 4 5-1 2 3 4 5 i think it would be cool if u could pull it off

I'd run a concentric circle LED array.. it would look way better not only when unlit, but when lit as well

just as said above, guys on hidplanet.com do CRAZY **** with leds, this one guy has a mid 90's corolla and he uses E36 bmw tails that he made fit and then ran led arrays for sequential lights looks great.

The ones in the op might get someone in trouble by police. Cause at a distance they may look like a swirling red light like police have in their cars. I know having flashing red lights on a vehicle here is illegal. So just food for thought.

its in the tail light though and only flashes like that with a turn signal on... so i cant see it being an issue

unless you plan on driving everywhere with your hazards on

I know it only flashes when you have the turn signal on but it's not a true sequential turn signal. It's still a flashing red light. Just another reason for the popo to pull you over IMO.

I used a small module called the Tailblazer from a company called Kisan. The unit isn't much larger than a thumb and wires in pretty easily inline. I wired it in just before the third brake light and velcro mounted it to the bottom of the third brake light housing. It was literally a 10min install if that.

The model I used is the 100HD. It's the same one as the one I have had on my motorcycle for years. It doesn't interfere with the cruise control either.

With everybody talking about the legality of things, I'd like to add that I reviewed the current Texas laws beforehand and it's completely legal with the center brake light. I even got a compliment from a cop on it the other day actually.
