Well some may know about my custom hood, alot dont.... but heres some pics after it installed and painted. Also it would be cool to see others the balts have more hood work then the RLs do cuz nobody posts with them so yah. These are prolie my best pics i have with the whole car, i have more if u wanna see close ups. ENJOY!!! Oh yah my rims are black not chrome anymore.

Well i never posted on here with the cobalts so gotta get there take and see some of there hoods. But yah dude i love that last pic too. First one looks like a Camaro SS.

Thats the underneath, i had to cut the fire shield for the air to come in for under the scoop.

 

so its actually a modded stock hood?

Yup stock RL hood from an old member and he molded a scoop and sanded down and prepped it up. U cant really see the bottom but its a good 1ft wide and 8inches tall where i cut the protection peice. The top by the window the scoop has huge holes for the air to get sucked in. Water/mist gets trapped sometimes and dribbles out lol.


Im damn proud of my hood DTCD and that cobalt with the G5 looks bad i like the actuall bumps in the hood instead of it indenting downwards like the white one on the first pic.

I hope this is the right spot to post this tho, so far so good and thanks to those who like it. The redline and cobalt deff have a different style as far as the hoods go. I dont think my hood would look good on a balt and the same goes for some hoods ive seen on the cobalts.

I like the hoods! I really am considering getting a CF hood......but shipping to Canada is UNREAL. I am just hoping to find someone up here in Canada who already has one and is willing to part with it.
