Light bulb suggestions.

2007 Cobalt SS/SC stock headlight, I currently have some GX300 4200k bulbs in that are 65w/55w and sadly i do not think they are bright enough and am very disappointed, any suggestion as to a brighter headlight, NON projector or actual H.I.D. saw some decent bulbs on e-bay and vendor sites but not sure which wattage or kelvin.. I did read that the kelvin rating like 8500k or 4200k pretty much refers to color correct? i just want some really nice bright bulbs with a slight blue tint.. thanks

i have projectors and people say that you cant use hids...but hids has a huge range of kelvin ratings...do you think the 7000k will burn my projectors...?

justa bout eveyone that ive talked to on here has suggested gettin hids with the projectors.. hids dont put out as much heat as a halogen bulb does so your projectors should be fine with hid.. the color is refered to as kelvin cuz thats what kelvin it looks like.. the high the kelvin the less out put your gonna get out of em.. you basically want something less than 10000k to still have decent visibility at night..
