light 'em up!
if you have unique headlights/ taillights or painted them yourself post up pics. and a description of...
-where you got them
-how much
-what you did different
my headlights,
used GM color matched paint, 12$, i left a chrome rim around light fixture and tinted the reflector, bought "stealth bulbs"(silver bulbs that glow orange) on ebay, 13$
my taillights,
used tintshade paint, 11$ left slightly red, only two coats of paint, and left the reverse light clear. also blacked out side markers.

Here's mine.
This is a slow shuter speed so they look bright as Fk.
Here is a fast shutter speed, looks kinda neat.
Here's the bulbs thats in them. I got these from Automotive Lightning USA (local vendor) . Price $40 someting???
Some like them, some dont. But you can sure tell my balt (at night) from the 10,000 other ones in town.
nramlow2006- I like those halos much better than the dull black ones, they look more stock like they came on the car. Nice!

Here is a pic of my painted headlights.... Done myself in Gunmetal to match the rims and i cleared the side marker (don't think anyone has done this yet?) http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u...ltSS-SC080.jpg
and here is a pic of my newly VHT'd tails, also done myself, and an overlay on the third brake light...http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u...ltSS-SC059.jpg
all in all both projects cost me about $25 for the paint and clear.
What do you guys think of them?
