Lights... camera... no action!

I have a padiddle again. This car eats bulbs like candy! I've not went back to stock bulbs but the stockers that came with my car lasted like 100k miles. I've tried silver stars, phillips clearvision and a weird 5200k brand on ebay. All of the aftermarkets burned out in 6-8 months.

I read on some threads that people liked the Phillips xtreme model, but those are listed as an H1 mount. I think our cars use the 9007, so does this mean people have the aftermarket housings to run those? Bottom line, does anyone know of a brand that fits the oem housing that will last more than a year!? I'm sick of spending $60/yr on bulbs!

Yea, OEM ones.

The hotter and brighter they burn, the shorter life they have.
****, silverstars even say that on the box...

Yeah I think I may call GM and see what the AC Delcos go for. If anyone finds this thread later, GM lists the AC part number is 22715492.

The brighter the lights the less time you get. But what shocked me was the GE lights everyone raves about had 150 hours burn time listed on the box!! 150 hours is ridiculous, who'd buy that crap? Oh wait, the people who don't read the box lol.

I bought an HID kit for around $140 and they are still working 4 years later. I will never buy aftermarket bulbs ever again I had PIAAs and they only lasted 6 months and cost $100
