lip kit over body kit

I've been looking at the website www.cobalt-addiction.com and in their body kit section they have a lip kit. Does this lip kit continue lower to the ground than the stock SS kit on the SS S/C? Or should i just buy the full out body kit for my car instead?

from my understand, lip kits tend to be less radical and retarded lookin than full on body kits...(read: fast and the furious)

Ironically, the SS/SC kit is just a lip kit on ss/na bumpers....yet the ss/sc came first. Man that's wierd, like the chicken vs. egg question.

The full kits will give a much cleaner look than the lip kits can. Even if you fit it correctly, you will still see a line going across the car. I have rear piece to a lip kit on my car and that is the problem I have.

some body kits take away the body lines of the car. I love the lines on the cobalt and the body kit pictures make the car look big and bulky. Don't get me wrong I would like to have a body kit but I havent seen a kit that i really like. I would love to see a front lip like the one on the Green GM one thats on CA website.

I haven't seen any pics in this forum with those 4 peice or 9 peice lips kits installed.
Would you like fries with that?

I'm either considering the lip kit or the Initial D body kit. I love the shape of the cobalt adn the initial d kit seems to try and keep with the style. Im just looking to get it lookign lower to the ground without actually lowering my car because the roads in my town suck and drivign with the kit is gonna be hard enough

The lip kit for the front bumper look like they almost have canards on them. I wonder if this would help keep the front end down at high speed.

Cobalt Addictions has a couple different pics on their site. Are you talking about the very first one that's yellow? That's a RK Sport lip on an SS/SC. It wasn't designed to fit on there, but it does. My car also has the same kit.
