I met a guy 2-3 years ago with some on his 2000 Chevy Z-71. I dont know where he got them or if he made them or not. But, it looked pretty good

I'm thinkin some LEDs pointed to the sill drilled into the frame could be pretty serious. If I was technically inclined with all that I'd give it a shot.

I would go with normal cobalt door sills, kinda like show me street customs did, and then put LED's underneath, so it showed through

i'm not sure what it's called, but in the Master Replica Star Wars Lightsabers, they have some film inside, thats feels like it's kinda like a flat piece of plastic, wrapped around inside the blade. I'm sure you could probably use that stuff. It's flat.

Check out my gallery, I have the sills Tiny was talking about installed. It looks as if there would be room under then to do the LED.

order the showmestreet customs ones, get a peice of plexi glass, any color leds you want, make sure the plexiglass can be drilled, some kinds cant..... epoxy the plexiglass to the sill, place some sort of reflective tape around the back, so the light can only reflect through the cut out spaces, and voila!...... Thank you for the idea, but i myself was thinking about doing the plastic inner sills, get an SS logo in vinyl, trace it, then cut it out, and place a neon tube behind it in some fasion.... I also want 2 big SS logos to light up on our huge doors..... let me know what you think of the idea, it is something i could prolly do... I will have my metal supplier cut me a few pieces of stainless, or alluminum, and have my moms boyfriend cut the SS into it with the CNC machine he has at work, give me like 2 weeks and i will try to throw something together

to expand on my previous post... theres a hole right above the latch for the door connection on the frame. just stick some LED in there and the whole side of the car would like up when the doors open... I really wish I was into wiring and I could pull this off. If anyone with the ability in/around allentown or reading PA want to meet up and do some work on it, let me know. I need an excuse to go for a ride.

You can use these door sills and just place EL strips underneath like that SRT up there. Done! Here's a pic of the sills and the link. All we need is a link to some good EL strips and we're all set.

The Link http://showmestreetcustoms.com/viewp...t&productId=79

Tiny,
If you Pm Jared and Show Me Street Customs at the above links provided in CTCOBOLTSS post or go to the Vendors threads and look them up. I am sure he would make or has just cobalt sills. As stated in my previous post I have the sills installed without LED's but if you want to see something other than the black inserts shown above then click on my gallery and you will see what they look like with red.
