Need to get the windows tinted on my 08 SS, looked around at local dealers a bit, found that most are selling Llumar. Just curious if anyone else has gotten this tint and if they like it. I'm likely going to try and get something with a little metallic in it (as reflective as the state of Florida allows). Was also wondering if anyone notices any interference with GPS or cell phone with the metallic version of this. Thanks for any responses!

I just had tint put on my cobalt this saturday it was Llumar no issues so far.

 

llumar is the best IMO... and metallic tint wouldn't add any more interference being in a car made of sheet metal. Most good tint is "metallic" even if its black

 

LOL ...... "imma have to call you back, Im breaking up....Damn Metallic TINT!" think of how many structures we have all used cell phones in.... pretty much any structure has layers of metal in it.

Honestly though.... for some reason.. whenever I go into Wal-Mart ( I try not to as much as possible), my cell phone loses all signal.. doesn't matter which location... and thats the only mega-grocery store that does it. MEGA_CONGLOMO_SPIRACY!>!!>>!>!>!>!>!>

 

You should get the Reflective Tint. Thats the one where its dark on the outside and from the inside out, you can see better than outside in?

 

not really the reflective tint hes referring to (i think) is the silver stuff that looks like a mirror on the outside regular tint on the inside
