Thinking about buying one and painting it either white or bronze and replacing my SS?
Just sketchy about buying a turbo badge from Advance Auto haha

What do you guys think?

I personally say keep it clean ya know. I see the turbo badge on too many rides. But it doesn't look bad. In bronze on your car would look pretty cool.

theres plenty of other cars that have 2.0T badges. VW usually has 1.8T, not 2.0T. the only other car i can think of that has badges like that is the 2.0T genesis coupe. but im not trying to look like another car. lol

its like saying if i wear the same T shirt as a black/mexican/asian guy, that im trying to look black/mexican/asian. plus, our cars are a 2.0T soo.....

 

Saabs have those 2.0T badges too.

It's a good idea. I'd try to find a different turbo badge though. My buddy put one of those on the back of his cabrolet, sooooooo that particular badge is just silly to me.

 

the turbo badge posted is on the back of turbo beetles. either way you are going to look like a vw.

 

its clean. Im not a fan of badging, but its still very OEM looking

Did you expect me to steal one from the Porsche, or pay a lot more than what I paid at Advanced Auto Parts just to get it? No I would rather pay at max 6 bucks to get the same look as the Porsche one and get what I wanted out of it.

Here's my input. IMO you shouldn't care what other people think about your car, its YOUR CAR. lol Do what you want to it. Don't care what other people think. If I cared what other people think I wouldn't have the turbo badge.

eh id say just leave it alone only emblems i took off was the big nasty bowtie on the trunk and wrapped my front in black and got the black overlays for the ss

Put the stock turbo badge on there, if anything. I think Porsche turbo badges on a car that isn't a Porsche is just gay, but that's just me.
