That is the worst advice I have ever heard. Come on, the law is the law. It doesn not matter if your the best driver in the world and never make a mistake. It doesn't matter if your the worst driver. A cop will pull you over for anything he can. First thing he sees that is not legal and your pulled. That includes tint. They are trained to do this.

Anyways, I just finished getting all mine off. Took the warning the the cops and they signed it. They told me not to even bother tinting. I told them I don't want to have to take tint off again and the glue it leaves behind really sucks. I just may try one more time and get a real light tint. Something like 40% all around or 50%.

Why would it be a matter of minutes? This thread has been around for a week...

I'm thinking about tinting my balt... probably 50% front 35% rear just so it's not so terribly dark...

This thread really helped me decide what I don't want to do...but hasn't really helped me for sure one what I'm going to get. I can't decide if I want to do 20% all around or 20% on the front and 5% on the back. But all I know is that 30% or lighter is WAY too light on the front 2, IMO.

i went with 35 in the front because having anything at all in the front is illeagel in michigan so i figured i might be able to get away with a light tint. then i went 20 in the back because i figured 5 in the back and 35 in the front would be too much of a contrast.

yeah thats my thing to...you kind of have to stay within 2 shades from the front to back to make it look right, IMO.
