looking for a specific shoty antenna

I know the shorty antenna question has been beat to death, i did a search but cant find what im looking for. i want an antenna that looks like the one on my old cavi only shorter, basically the same as on the cobalt minus that wire wrapped around it. i want one thats around 15". I found one on a website but shipping to canada is too much. my mom is going to the USA tomorrow and I was wondering if there is a store she could buy it at. heres a link to what Im looking for. http://www.corvettegarage.com/produc...-corvette.html thanks
edit: I still have the one from my cavi and i was thinkin about just cutting it, but it doesnt look like the ball on the top comes off. if i could just cut it that would be easier if anyone knows a way to reuse the ball on the top

I wonder if that one for the vette will fit the balt? They're both GM so i'm interested.
Here are some pics. The bottom looks just like ours.

email the company and find out the thread pattern it may be the same i know people on here have modded thier stock antennas so im sure you could do it to the one off the cavi its a solid metal piece right

EDIT: try this you can get it any length and then just paint it black or color match it

The corvette antenna is the same as the one on the cobalts.

If your still looking for an antenna and dont mind a 8" one then check out Ecklers here http://www.ecklers.com/product.asp?p...dept%5Fid=1005

I cut my cav antenna over the weekend, worked great, the end did jsut pop off, its jsut the way it was painted made it look like it was all one piece, i cut it to 20" and its probably only about 2 " longer than Id like, so i might cut another 2 " off later, but Im glad I didnt cut too much, cuz i was gonna cut it to 15", glad I didnt
