Lost my lower grill...what are my options?
I have a 2007 SS 2.4L and hit a small animal (think it was a porcupine) on the way home last night and destroyed my lower grille...luckily, there's no damage at all to the bumper itself. I took out what was left of it....so right now, it kind of looks like an SS supercharged without a bottom grill. I don't really feel like paying to put another stock one on there, it didn't look that great anyway. Would it be a problem to leave it like that, or is there a better looking grill out there I could put in?

No real problem leaving it open, you may get a rock or two hitting the radiator sometimes since there's nothing to deflect them now. Why not look into getting the SS/TC grill combo from CED? Looks better than the stock ones we got.

How much does that kit cost, and what's CED? Do you have a link?

Your grills look nice...where did you get those and how much did they cost you? Also, I checked the site and I can see they have the 2008 SS grill, would this fit on my 2.4 SS?

Here's a couple of pics of what it looks like now, I was fortunate the only damage is the two small spots the paint got scuffed off. My license plate was bent a little on the bottom right, I straightened it out the best I could.

Tell me about it...I don't know how it didn't crack the lower lip of the bumper or damage the radiator...I guess I was lucky despite my bad luck. When I got out of the car to take a look, half of the grill was sticking out and it had bent the license plate. The other piece of the grill is probably somewhere on the side of the road now.

Put Cobalt Addiction.com billet grills in! It was about $220 shipped to my door.
Its also where CC08 got his. Great instructions, materials, and hardware. And mine has sliced up some small birds and gophers, without damaging it.
