Did you do this with the tires on, idk if i should take my tires off to do it, or if the coat would be tarnished...?

So yeah, what they said:

1) Prep work prior to plasti dip?
2) Can I use this stuff for let's say... the EVO mod??

i wouldnt take the tires off.. added cost to what is supposed to be a cheap job.. plus you're assuming whoever is mounting your tire isnt gonna scratch the paint.. which would require a repaint anyway

just clean it really well with soap and water.. maybe use a mild wax and grease remover as well with a soft cloth.. then spray away! I'm also assuming you are going the plastidip route because you might want to remove it at some point? If you are going for a more permanent solution.. scuff with like a 600 grit sandpaper and reclean before you paint

and yes you can use it for the evo mod

Dumb that's your opinion that's fine and I did not paint the inside if you mean did I take the tires off...I painted the outside then move into the inside of the wheel. I plan on powder coating my wheels next spring.

Just check out some youtube vids. There are a bunch of vids about it. There is even one guy who did it and then did a second vid 6 months later with how they held up. As long as there is no leading edge for the stuff to start peeling it wont come off. I have had my emblems done on my equinox for a year now and still holding strong
