lowering springs

i need some help im wanting to lower my 08 cobalt and i need to know how low i can go before it rubs i was thinking about 2" in the front and 2.5" in the rear is this gonna rub thanks for any help

Will not rub unless you have the wrong tire size.

Are you doing some custom stuff? You should have any issue dropping that much unless your cobalt is Super or turbo charged then it would be close.

I'm assuming he has a LS and there are no springs that will lower an SS (of any model) 2" or more. The rating is for the FE1 suspension.

Someone here had the B&G springs. i think they'll drop the front 1.6" and the rear 2"

i have eibach sportlines that lower it 2" in the front and 2.5" in the rear. They dont rub, and it looks soooo much better! haha
