Funny, i want to take this crappy ass SS wing off and put on the LS spoiler....or maybe the three piece one from RK

 

i love the SS spoiler, absolutly love it.

 

I've got to play the a$$-hole on this one - I hate it. Not trying to diss you or anything, but it doesn't go with the rest of your car. Maybe after a body kit etc etc. but for now I'm not feeling it all. And since I'm a hater on fart-cans I gotta call you on that too. I'm assuming you have plans to add a kit? Please say so.

But if you're happy with it then good, as long as YOU like it.

its cuz the ones that hate it just dont tell you, I HOWEVER, will give my opinions, which isnt a bad thing, you can take them however you want, and PLEASE im not saying to listen to me, but i think everyones looking for a little criticism on what to do better, so i try to help and state my opinion on everything that goes on, even if it makes me look bad i dont care, because thats what I THINK, and everybody starts crying about it. too bad deal with it, dont post something "radical" and expect to not get some criticism about it, im usually the one to do it first and everyone starts hating on me, im not trying to offend anybody just trying to maybe persuade them that, no, it doesnt look good. however thats my opinion. im not afraid to show it.

I tried to keep my opinion to myself but this thread just wont die, I think it looks awful. The rear of the ls is just too small for that wing. Without some sort of kit or atleast rear facia it just doesnt work. It reminds me of the older saturns running around town with the fart cans and the huge aluminum wing. Don't get me wrong I love the wing on the SS. But it just doesnt fit your car. Hey just my opinion. You like it, run with it, thats all that matters. My advice, if u dont get a full body kit atleast get a some sort of rear facia, rk, razzi or stock ss, anything to make it look balanced. Take it or leave it.

 

My local dealer has a red, black, and yellow coupe with the SS wing trying to help them sell, but they've been there for months. They have a new SS/SC also non lsd Black with red insert interior. But it's going for 24, 500. That's way too much, I got the same car in red for 19,500. I don't think any non lsd equipped SS/SC is worth over 20k.



I dont care for the SS wing, hence why I ditched mine, but I admire your modification. Keep us posted on the progress!

 

I don't think it looks all that bad. The only reason I don't like it much is because that wing is a trademark of the SS model. The last thing I need is some bitch in a shitty car saying he beat an SS's ass in a race when it was really just an LS with the wing. You know it's going to happen.

Wikky, unfortunately your a minority. You can say what you like and try and make it seem like the world just hates the way my LS looks but thats simply not the case.

Your opinion is your opinion but dont delude yourself into thinking, wat you think is mainstream, when in reality you are the minority.

As for people thinking its a SS and thinking they beat one, im right there with you guys, i DONT want people to think they beat an SS thats the main reason i havent debaged my car yet.

although it looks nice, i'd leave the SS parts on the SS. I think because the SS has more ground effects, better suspension, and bigger wheels, the SS wing fits it better... i dunno...

 

what do you guys think about that wing on a sedan? Im gonna get one I think......

 

thats really hard to say, but i love the wing and think it would loog good on alot of cars.

4 doors and 2 doors are hard to compare when it comes to parts like spoilers

I actually think it looks good I want to put the SS wing on my LS along with DEBADGE the car and MOD the heck out of it!!! Does that mean i am passing my car off as the SS? So whats the big deal if you plan on making the car your own and thats your taste then go for it. I dont think you have to have the SS to have a fast cobalt? My plans for my car will (other than wheels/tires and the tint) are all going to be into the HP area untill thats done then i will work on getting the outside to match the running gear. Am i trying to pass off my LS as an SS no! If i could have afforded the SS due to my credit/divorce situation i would have gotten it... I got what i could afford in the credit world and am going to mod with what I really can afford!

 

Anyone wanna trade a black SS spoiler for a LS spoiler with 9k on it?
