how the f do you get these things out ?

Map lights are the lights on the rear view mirror. Is that what your talking about?

tie a self tightening knot in a piece of string (similar to a noose), wrap it around the bulb, let it tighten, and then pull the bulb out. or you could try prying one side with a jewel screwdriver if you have one. thats how i did it the first tme i ever took them out but the knot trick works much better and easier

i broke them with needle nose pliers and yanked it out by the filament.. not the most elegant way, but it worked nice and quick and it forced me to vacuum my car lol

I got them out using tweasers. Only thing is, some bulbs might be hard to get out. Just squeeze it to get a good handle on it. I wouldnt be worried about breaking the bulb.

I had to do this with my sidemarker, it shattered and thats all i could think of to get it out. lol
