Matrix racing seats

my friend ordered theses seats for me way back in december and they should be here next week sometime. The are uneversial so they should just bolt on? Right? or am i going to gave to change things? Also my my other consern is about the airbag sensor. Im pretty sure theses seats dont have a thing to plug it into. Ant ideas what i should do?

They may need slight modification to mount to our stock brackets...but I doubt it.

Highly unlikely those new seats will just bolt right up to the stock brackets. My guess is that a lot of fab work will be needed.

Theres a couple sets for sale on here right now.

Honestly a seat is a critical piece of the car and many aftermarket seats arent upto the task and arent as strong as the stock seats. The old saying of you get what you pay for really does mean something in automotive seats. If you have non g85 seats (recaro/ss/tc seats) then I highly recommend either of those. Especially the ss/tc seats. They made the biggest difference in my car. It suddenly felt like it handled better rode better all because I was held in place much better.

unless u wanna buy corbeau brackets at 100 a piece, fabbing up brackets is really the only option and i still spent sprobly 50 on supplies and thats doing all the work myself.

That doesn't mean anything......my recaros came with sliders....... aftermarket recaros....guess what I need custom brackets to mount the sliders to my the car. The cobalts have a unique seat bracket.....just buy corbeaus seats and their brackets or be ready to get brackets.

guys when you build these "brackets" and such I cant stress enough how much strength needs to be in the brackets and bolts you use. And as ive stated many cheap seats wont hold upto a normal accident. The recaros are obviously a safe choice. But even those dont mean **** if the brackets are cheap metal.
