mirror cover

i got my black mirror covers installed. but there is a corner where is isnt flush with the actual mirror. i put silicone under it and pressed down and held a blowdrier to it but that didnt work.
what else can i use that will hold it down so there isnt a gap
the mirror cover is securly on but i want the gap gone so its flush like its suppose to be
if pics are needed i can provide them

duct tape yo! haha j/k. possibly some gorilla glue or jb plastic weld. a while back i pulled too far into a parking space and the lip on my bumper got stuck on one of those stupid concrete curb type things and broke some of it off kinda on the drivers side. it pretty much just broke a few of those clips that hold it in. regardless i used jb plastic weld to glue it back on and its been good for almost a year now.
